Sridhar Ramachandran co-founded NexTone Communications in February of 1998 and serves as the company's CTO. He brings to the company a wealth of technical and business background in the telecom and datacom industry.

Prior to NexTone, Ramachandran has held executive and professional positions at large corporations and entrepreneurial startups. He worked at GE Spacenet, Bay Networks and Hughes Network Systems before he founded NexTone Communications.

Ramachandran earned his Bachelors in Technology in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Chennai (Madras), India. He has a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
