Andrew Missing heads Product Marketing in the Regional Support Center for North America for Alcatel's Internet Protocol Division. IPD provides next generation data solutions, comprising next generation IP/MPLS-based service routers, Ethernet service switches and multiservice edge/core switches, as well as service management and value added services.

Mr. Missing has more than 12 years experience in the field of telecommunications. He has worked in the United States for the last six years, based in Northern Virginia.

Andrew joined Alcatel through their acquisition of Newbridge Networks. He joined Newbridge Networks in Canada in 1995 and has held several positions in business development and network design/engineering and consulting. Prior to joining Newbridge Networks, Andrew worked for Siemens AG in Munich in its Public Switching Division.

He graduated from Aston University, in England, with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
