Are my LSPs up? Are they up now?
Ina Minei
Juniper Networks
As MPLS deployments become more popular and as service providers move revenue-generating services to MPLS networks, there is a requirement to provide both fast detection of failures and fast troubleshooting.
The talk examines the types of failures encountered, why fast detection is not always easy, the tools currently available for troubleshooting failures and the scaling properties of these tools. Finally, the talk looks at ways in which network operators and equipment vendors can improve the resilience of MPLS networks, both through avoiding failures, and through minimizing their impact
