Bio:
Christophe Masiero is the head of the VPN Services team in the Products & Solutions organization at Equant. In this capacity, he currently leads the team that manages the Equant flagship product, MPLS-based IP VPN as well as the Frame Relay (FR) and LAN Access (Managed FR) products for total revenue responsibility of more than $1.3B. His role includes the definition of the Marketing, Pricing, Development strategies as part of the life-cycle management of each product.
Prior to assuming this product management position, Masiero was a Sr. Research Consultant in Equant’s Technical Strategy group. In this role, Masiero provided strategic recommendations to Equant senior management for the introduction of leading IP technologies, such as MPLS, Class of Services and IPSec.
Prior to joining Equant in 1999, Masiero held a series of sales support positions for Alcatel in both the US and France. In these roles, he participated in sales efforts, delivering FR, ATM and IP solutions turnkey voice network solutions to international carriers.
Masiero was a French Air Force Reserve Officer, holds a French Master’s degree in Computer Sciences and Electrical Engineering from ESIGETEL, France and a MBA from Kennesaw State University, GA.
