Abstract:

Traditionally Layer 3 VPNs are implemented using the Virtual Router Model or the VRF 2547bis Model. Both of these models have Pros and Cons. In this presentation, we will present a new approach -"Virtual Router based 2547bis" that combines the Virtual Router model and the VRF 2547bis model. We will also discuss the benefits and the new services that are possible with this model.
