Prior to joining Avici, Steve was President of Lucent's multiservice core networks division, responsible for the ATM and frame relay core switching,IP core routing, ATM access and the TDM cross connect product lines. Previously, he was Vice President and General Manager of Core Switching and Vice President of Product Management for Lucent's carrier networks division,and earlier, was a general manager in Lucent's microelectronics group (now Agere Systems). Prior to Lucent, he worked at Intel Corporation in a variety of marketing management roles on the Pentium processor family of products.Steve holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Brown University, a master's of business administration degree from Harvard Business School and an MS in computer science from Stanford University.
